Monon 1/4 mile telephone poles, telephone pole milepost markers and switchstands now on entire route.
The route comes with default activities/explore routes using BLW/ZT Monon/L&N replica equipment, both payware and freeware.

If you desire to not get them, you must modify the activities/services or delete them and then make an activity with a service.
The Amtrak activities requires the default MSTS Dash 9 and Metroliner cars.

Scenery Updates and Patch: Run them in order
from web page download area and re run the snow.exe in the Monon-2 folder
if you get a texture missing error while running in a winter simulation.
SR Roads updated to latest 1.77.
Microtex for snow changed back to deep snow.
The snow terrtex folder has a template folder for
different snow conditions
to use with the snow.exe terrtex maker in the Monon folder.

MONON-2 Version 10 Updated Install Instructions
1) Move or delete (A MUST) any previous MONON-2 version in your Routes folder
YOU RECEIVED FROM ME
in your MSTS Routes folder, if you have it, if you do not have it, disregard
this step.
2) Download the Monon-2_10 files to a temp directory and run the setup programs starting with number 1.
Change the default install directory of:
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Train Simulator"
when prompted if you need to.
3) If you DO HAVE X-Tracks installed, 3_18 or better, disregard this step.
If you DO NOT have X Tracks installed, download and install it first.

4) If you do not have MSTS New Roads Installed, download them from train-sim.com
and install them second, get
file:
newrds.zip
5) If you don not have Scail roads 1.77, download them form 3DTrains and install
them 3rd, get them at:

6) Go to the Monon-2 folder after you install the route and run the
"
Snow.exe" file. This will make snow terrtex files for the route to work
in snow or winter environments.
Launch snow.exe, click "Process" and
wait for it to say:
"Texture copying complete"
Click "OK" and the program will finish and close by itself.
This will take serveral minutes, ensure you let it finish!
7) The route comes with default activities and explore paths.
They REQUIRE the BLW/ZT Monon
Equipment Packs, Free bonus packs
and the Free L&N pack. The Amtrak activities requires the default MSTS
Dash 9 and Metroliner cars.

If you do not want to get these packs, you MUST modify the activities to change or delete the activities and services for the route to run.
8) Ensure you have bin installed but is not required. But, it does fix the
White Void issue this route like many others have without bin being installed.
See the "White Void Fix for
MONON-2.txt" document in the "Docs" folder.
First time startup
The first time you run the MONON-2 Simulation, MS Train Sim ....MAY.... build
the terrain buffers
(if so, this will take several minutes, this is normal and only happens once).

for better frame rates in the simulation.

These are Cowen Upgrade kit engines, 35 differently numbered engines.
They have varying tenders, some with extended coal boxes.
All couplers are 100% functional.
